I have been playing youth and club lacrosse for 8 years and I currently play on the 2020 SoundCrosse Connecticut elite club team for Coach Caitlin Copelan as a midfielder and for the New Canaan High School Girls Varsity team. My playing style draws from my natural athleticism and from being a three-sport Varsity athlete. As a scholar-athlete, I manage to balance my hectic sports schedule and prioritize my academics. I achieved high honours for all four quarters of my Freshman year and honours all 4 quarters my Sophmore year. My greatest passion is Lacrosse and my dream is to play at the collegiate level. I love playing under the direction of Coach Kristin Woods who has led the Rams to four state titles in the last five years. My New Canaan High School Varsity Girls Lacrosse team (15-4-0) ended Darien’s 107-game, in-state win streak to advance to the CIAC state finals where we then beat Ridgefield to claim the state championship title. On my travel lacrosse team, playing for Coach Caitlin Copelan, I am valued for my explosive speed, physicality in a scrum, powerful shots, accuracy and field sense in distributing feeds, and my positive and tireless energy.
