Rafael Antun
Recruit Profile
Multi-sport athlete who plays hard. I'm aggressive and use my strength to go to the cage, but also play smart and look for opportunities to get my teammates involved.
I was recently told by my high school lacrosse coach that I am relentless and have no fear. These traits, as well as my self-determination, preparedness, and winning attitude have allowed me to be successful at lacrosse. I have a passion for lacrosse, and it is my goal to share this passion while playing and contributing at the collegiate level, in addition to achieving academic success.
I am commended by my coaches and teammates for my strength, shot, quick feet, dodging, lacrosse IQ, and team first attitude. I am a team leader and lead by example, whether it be staying late after practice working on my shot, weight training regimen, or working out with a 2021 High School All-American and current collegiate attackman.
Being a student athlete has taught me the importance of teamwork, time management, and preparedness. Also, athletics has showed me the importance of a good and organized work ethic and how such effort and sacrifices are instrumental to being successful on the field and in the classroom.
Off the field, I enjoy a 3.7 weighted GPA (3.6 cumulative GPA) and volunteer at local community service organizations. I am proud to be the Treasurer of Comfort Crusaders, a 501(c)(3) organization that I co-founded with friends in 2018 where we plan and organize various community service projects.
I am excited about my future and enthusiastic about earning an opportunity to attend an institution where I can contribute and be challenged academically and athletically. I look forward to this opportunity of continuing to be a successful student athlete while also serving as a positive teammate and leader.
