Rayne is a very smart athlete that is able to play both attack and midfield. Not only is he able to create chances with the ball, he works very well off ball opening up opportunities for both himself, and his teammates. His ability to finish both inside and out, makes defenders have to play honest whenever he has the ball. Rayne often is able to beat his man 1 on 1, attract a slide and able to dish. Rayne is also very good on loose balls and his ability to ride and anticipate is noticeable. He is usually 2-3 passes ahead of the play which allows him to get into good positioning.

Rayne is a savvy left handed attackman that can create offense as well as finish in tight. Rayne's quickness and ability to shake defenders makes him a valuable member of any team he is apart of. Rayne is not limited to scoring goals around the crease; he is comfortable sinking shots from range.
