I am beginning my sixth year of working with Reagan. For her entire club career she has consistently been one of our best 2023 goal keepers. From a coaching standpoint, Reagan has been a pleasure to work with. She is a very good athlete, a great communicator, a fearless competitor, works hard to be her best and responds well to constructive criticism. Due to her work ethic, she continues to improve. In addition to her desire to excel, one of Reagan’s most valuable attributes is her reaction speed. Her explosive movement allows her to block shots that others might miss and when coupled with her smart positioning she is a formidable opponent. Reagan’s clears are also excellent. She is able to scan the field quickly and make good decisions about what to do next. Her passes are accurate and decisively thrown. When no teammates are open or her teammates need her support out of the goal, Reagan can rely on her strong stick skills and athleticism to protect the ball. Reagan’s teammates like playing with her and respect her leadership. On the field, she is a loud and effective communicator who does an excellent job of supporting her defenders.
