My name is Rebecca and I am a Sophomore at Manhasset High School. The most important things to me are my family, good health, education, service, and being a part of a team. Manhasset offers the perfect blend of outstanding academics and elite level athletics. I am striving to obtain the best education possible for myself but also devoting time towards making education more accessible and equitable for others. Service is an integral part of my daily life as a Co-Founder of Deeds 4 Needs Charity that helps promote educational equity in underserved areas. I am a multi-sport athlete including soccer, basketball and lacrosse and love the daily exercise, the camaraderie, and personal satisfaction that comes from hard effort and team work. A ground ball, a check causing a turnover, an assist, a goal, or words of encouragement to my teammates is how I make my team better. When I am on the field, I try to make a difference whether on ball or off.
