I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade as a midfielder. I was good but my coach asked me to try a d-pole and I said, why not. Turned out I loved the position and realized the critical role, intensity to cover goal, support the team, etc. My first IG profile was "LaxChillBro." Somewhat summarizes my personality. I'm 100% committed to Lacrosse but school is always number one and balance of friends and family. My mom says I "turn on" when I hit the field - like a light switch. The chill, easy going, funny person most people know me by becomes something more serious, an athlete, high stamina and strength kicks in. Balancing school as my number one, LAX, family, friends, I also love to ski. As much time as I can, I'm training for lacrosse and finding time to travel or locally ski. I appreciate fashion when I'm not in casual ski wear. My middle school principal said to my dad I was "the best dressed kid, no, best dressed person on this campus." Lacrosse enhances my life without question.
I like the thrill of being fast, smart, learning new skills, training and meeting great coaches and friends along the way. There's an energy that is hard to explain whether it was World Series in Denver in 105 degree heat or freezing-rain pouring down at a tourni in Delaware, its increments of 40 minutes to take everything you have and fight to the finish. I've learned speed counts as much as strength. Right hand needs to be as good as left. I've played through injuries and trained hard to push out of them so I don't let myself down or my team. Beyond lacrosse I recognize it's all leading up to college. I'm good at English but better at Math and like Bio. My grades matter and I look forward to proving what kind of student I'll become as the years pass. I want to play for a top Lacrosse performance school but also know my education is key so that's the focus. When I'm not thinking about school or LAX, I definitely wonder where's there's snow. I love to ski, my four dogs, my family here and in L.A. and I've learned that even the tiniest piece of plastic deserves recycling.
