I started playing lacrosse at age 5. Both my parents are lacrosse coaches and played in college so it was simply a way of life. Luckily for me, I loved playing from the moment I started and I love being part of a team. I am the oldest of 5 siblings and learned early the importance of working hard to achieve goals and tasks set before me. I take very seriously my commitment to my team and always step on the field ready to compete and do my best for my teammates and coaches. I am a spirited competitor who loves to compete. I play both defense and midfield and work hard to move the ball with purpose, speed and accuracy. I use my height and strong understanding of body position to win and maintain ball possession, and I am a strong communicator on the field. I am told by my coaches that I am coachable which is often demonstrated by my ability to execute learned skills quickly in game play. On defense, I use strong footwork to maintain good body position, and I see and take defensive slides early and effectively. I move the ball efficiently in the midfield, and on attack, I am a prolific feeder and move the ball well around the 12M. I started playing club lacrosse for the Bay State Bullets in the 6th grade and continue to play on their top level team. I was a starting member of my high school's varsity lacrosse team as a freshman. I am a top leader on the team for ground ball wins and leading the team for caused turn overs. As a Freshman, I was recognized as a League All Star Honorable Mention (Dual County League). In addition to lacrosse, I played both Varsity Field Hockey and Varsity Ice Hockey as a freshman and am currently a starting member of both teams. As a freshman, I took honors geometry and honors world history. As a Sophomore, I am taking honors algebra, AP World History, honors English, and honors biology. I serve as one of our class' community service leaders and am a member of our school's acapella singing group.
