For as long as I can remember I have been around the sport of lacrosse. I can recall being on the sideline of my sisters' games playing around with a stick and ball. I was raised in Severn, Maryland where I learned strong fundamentals and developed an advanced IQ. Before I moved to North Carolina, I started as a defender, following in my sister's footsteps. Once in North Carolina, I developed into a Midfielder and Draw Specialist. My coaches taught me to be an athletic, motivated, and creative lacrosse player. Furthermore, my experiences and time in the sport led me to be a coachable and strong teammate who loves being on the field. I am comfortable in both hands and am gritty in my approach towards cage. Such athletism translates well to other sports. I play field hockey and ran cross country both of which I enjoy playing during the lacrosse offseason. Off the field, I work hard in the classroom. I am apart of several honors classes and enjoy the challenges they provide. My grades reflect my work ethic in a challenging work environment. I balance my classwork with workouts and involvement in several clubs such as best buddies and admissions ambassadors. In both of those clubs I enjoy the opportunity to help people in different ways. As my first high school season approaches this spring I cannot wait to see what opportunities arise and how my play improves.
