I started playing lacrosse in the 2nd grade, age 8. My first club lacrosse experience was with Black Dog in Pennsylvania in the 3rd grade. I continued with Black Dog for two more years then I moved to Maryland. I wanted to continue my club experience so I tried out for Chesapeake Club Lacrosse (CCLax) in Maryland. I continued to play rec lacrosse and club lacrosse simultaneously. In 6th grade, I tried out for a more competitive club & made the team and moved to Integrity. In middle school, I continued to work hard on an off the field. I played lacrosse year round, as well as playing field hockey in the fall, all while maintaining excellent grades and earning Honor Roll all 3 years. The summer before 8th grade, Integrity split it's 2024 squad into 2 teams. I took this split into 2 teams as a fresh start. My coach was now the owner of the club, Moira Leavitt. I worked hard during the winter season so I could come back better and stronger in the spring. The spring season started and then COVID hit and everything shutdown. I was working hard and praying for the day that I could get back on the field. Summer tournaments started and I volunteered to play midfield, even though it was out of my comfort zone because I am an attacker, but my team needed someone. So I stepped up and to the challenge. I am learning the ins and outs of the position and I have learned how to take the draw. I love it, and it has made a big change in my game. Since starting High School I have been doing every lacrosse and field hockey clinic, workout, and practice that I can sign up for, as well as working at home. This spring I made the varsity lacrosse team as a freshman and scored 3 goals. I am currently taking all honors classes in high school & I am in accelerated math with a 4.0 GPA. I also volunteer at a community food drive a few times a month to help those in need.
