I'm no stranger to hard work. I've always been a multi-sport athlete, but lacrosse is my favorite and I have been playing since I was 4. My Dad played in college and his love for the sport naturally passed to myself and my siblings. As soon as club lacrosse was available I was in! I've benefitted from strong coaching, but a day doesn't go by when I'm not working on my stick skills and conditioning.

I am naturally strong and athletic, but it's my work ethic that has enabled me to shine both on and off the field. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in first grade. While my friends were playing, I was working with a reading specialist. I can't say I enjoyed it, but it taught me at a young age that hard work pays off. My discipline and commitment to putting in the extra time continues to define me both academically and athletically. I eventually overcame my dyslexia, but the work ethic I developed has enabled me to shine both on and off the field.

I'm a versatile player. A natural righty but I'm equally strong with both hands. I don't mind contact and have always been comfortable playing anywhere on the field. I played midfield most of my career transitioning to defensive mid and defense my freshmen year. I like to score, but I like to take the ball away or shut down a scorer even more. I'm comfortable playing man-to-man but also excel at team defense.

In school, while taking advanced classes, I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and was admitted to the National Honors Society. I also find time to give back to my larger community. I have been recognized as a service leader by both the nonprofit where I volunteer and my high school where I received the Gold Service Award for over 250 hours of community service.

My teachers and coaches have consistently praised me for being teachable and coachable, saying I am a pleasure to have in their class or on their team. I pride myself on being considered a good teammate and a versatile athlete that can be plugged in anywhere by my coaches. I honestly love learning and challenging myself. My natural abilities, hard work and positive attitude have allowed me to succeed as a lacrosse player and play for one of the best teams in the country.
