My name is Rory Essick and I will be graduating from Newark Charter High School in 2021.
I have been playing lacrosse since 6th grade and have always dreamt of playing lacrosse and ice hockey in college.
I am the starting Varsity goalie for Newark Charter High School (Delaware) and Greene Turtles 2021 club team.
First Team All Conference DSAC 2018,2019.
I am fortunate to play behind some terrific teammates that resulted in an 82% save percentage this year.
I try to be a leader on and off the field/ice.
I am an Elite level Multi-Sport athlete playing both lacrosse and ice hockey while maintaining a higher than average GPA.
I understand the sacrifices and hard work that comes with accomplishing my goal, and I am truly committed to doing what it takes to be a great student athlete! When I am not busy with academics/ sports; I enjoy spending time with family, friends, creating art and listening to music.
