Rowan is a pillar of our attack and has the characteristics a team needs to produce. Physically, Rowan is very tall and strong, and she understands how to use her height and strength to her advantage and handles pressure from defenders with composure. She is a lefty which makes her a natural feeder from X for our righty players. More important than her physical abilities, Rowan is hungry to score points which you need on the attack. She never hides, but instead always finds ways to score or creates scoring opportunities for others. Without question, she leads our team in assists, and consistently finds her way to cage as well. I have been playing lacrosse since 1st grade and as the daughter of a former college coach, I have spent many hours on the sidelines watching and learning the game. I pride myself on my unselfish play and prolific feeding abilities. While I am comfortable going to goal I truly thrive on providing my teammates with scoring opportunities. I see the field well and use my height and size to my advantage. I am often double teamed because of my size and am comfortable working around that to find an open teammate. I also play basketball for my high school team and feel it is the perfect crossover sport for lacrosse. I was named Most Improved for the 2021-22 season. I am involved with the One Love club at my school as well as the Center for Advancement of Girls. I am interested in pursing marketing and interior design in college. I was recently selected for the PA American Select Team.
