Athletic and versatile, three sport student-athlete; extremely coachable, hard working, aggressive and strong. Works well with everyone and is a leader on and off the field. Outgoing and vocal.
My junior year I was named Captain of the Varsity HS team. I led the team in assists, was 2nd leading scorer with 56% shooting avg., and led draw controls with a 54% control avg. I was an All-Patriot selection in my conference, the SWC in 2021 and I was named Captain again for my senior year. I've continued developing my lacrosse skills by playing against more competitive teams with Gold Coast Lacrosse, my current club team.
I've been named five times to SWC All-Conference All-Academic Team in lacrosse, basketball, and soccer where I have maintained high honors for 8 consecutive quarters while playing three Varsity sports.
I was inducted into the Bethel Chapter of the National Honor Society. I received the History and the PE Department's Scholar Awards. I also received the President's Gold Volunteer Service Award. I was nominated to represent our school twice at the CT Association of Schools Student Athlete Leadership Conference.
I'm a three sport athlete at my HS. I'm vocal in all my sports, on the field/court and I enjoy maintaining close relationships with my teammates. I play Varsity soccer and was named Captain for my junior and senior seasons. I play center back where I have a great handle on controlling the field of play. I also play Varsity basketball and played in every game since I was a freshman. I was voted All-Patriot in my conference, the SWC, as a junior. I'm a post player who directs the defense and helps to execute the offensive plays.
I am enrolled in the Healthcare Pathway at my HS where I focus on pre-health related studies and the sciences. I am a CT Climate Change Youth Summit Leader.
I enjoy digital art and illustration as a way to de-stress. I like lifting and I weight train year round. I love running and hiking with my black lab and BFF, Olive. I don't get to ski as much as I would like due to current sporting commitments during the winter. I'm the oldest of three with two younger brothers; Lincoln (15) and Larsen (12). I have the best friends ever and look forward to making more.

Shelly Rinas
Ruby is an all-around fantastic student-athlete and lacrosse player. She is a fierce attacker, a supportive teammate, and a dedicated captain. She earned a starting Varsity position during her freshman season and has only continued to improve her stick work, lax-IQ, agility, and conditioning. Today she is an impact player, leader, and the heart of the team. Ruby's strength and power while driving to goal separates her from other attackers on the field. She would be an asset to any college program.
Olivia Franzese
Ruby is a versatile and tenacious athlete. Her fearlessness and incredible lacrosse IQ allows her to be a threat everywhere on the field. Ruby is a two year captain, currently holding the title for most assists, highest draw control percentage, and second highest goals for our team. This athlete is the epitome of a team player. Off the field, Rugby is a talented and committed student, receiving various academic honors, as well as an active member of our community.
