Ryan is an athletic, committed, hardworking, spirited player with a strong lax IQ and field presence. Her ability to play all positions makes her an asset on any team she plays for. Her skillset extends from taking draws, running full midfield to playing an assortment of smart, physical and aggressive styles. She has strong stick skills, a solid shot, a deceptive quickness, and is extremely responsible - less than 110% effort is not her makeup - typically making her one of the top skilled and lax savvy players on her team. Though accomplished, Ryan constantly works to improve all aspects of her game both on and off field. She is extremely coachable, highly receptive to constructive discussion and very goal driven. As a teammate, Ryan leads by example, is polite, respectful of all coaches, teammates and players - and is well-liked among all her peers. Ryan is not, however, beyond respectfully contributing vocally when circumstances demand. Academically, her performance speaks well of her ambitions and goals as a student athlete.
