Ryan Carter
Recruit Profile
Ryan is a hard working player with natural athletic ability and high lacrosse IQ. She's a team leader that excels all over the field and can play any position.
I didn't started playing lacrosse until middle school but quickly picked up the game and became a team leader and starting draw midfielder for both my high school Varsity and club team. I pride myself at being a two-way midfielder, which is representative of my three years in High School where I started every Varsity game and led the team in goals, assists, draws, draw controls, ground balls, and forced turnovers. I also play club lacrosse for Eagle Stix where I am a starting midfielder, draw specialist and team leader. Outside of lacrosse I am a straight A student at Midtown High School and very active in my community. In addition to my part time job, I help teach Sunday School, volunteer for Strong Women Fellowship that helps homeless mothers get back on track, and have raised money through a charity I started for Black Lives Matter.

Ryan is an athletic, committed, hardworking, spirited player with a strong lax IQ and field presence. Her ability to play all positions makes her an asset on any team she plays for. Her skillset extends from taking draws, running full midfield to playing an assortment of smart, physical and aggressive styles. She has strong stick skills, a solid shot, a deceptive quickness, and is extremely responsible - less than 110% effort is not her makeup - typically making her one of the top skilled and lax savvy players on her team. Though accomplished, Ryan constantly works to improve all aspects of her game both on and off field. She is extremely coachable, highly receptive to constructive discussion and very goal driven. As a teammate, Ryan leads by example, is polite, respectful of all coaches, teammates and players - and is well-liked among all her peers. Ryan is not, however, beyond respectfully contributing vocally when circumstances demand. Academically, her performance speaks well of her ambitions and goals as a student athlete. Ryan has good grades and is social-media and community responsible. In short, she is the type of player any team will be proud to call their own.
