Born in Orange County, California and growing up in Winston-Salem, I have traveled around the world to many countries since the age of 18 months. I love to travel and experience other cultures. The most memorable for me is when I went to Vietnam with my Dad, who is a Vietnam veteran. Since third grade, I've played lacrosse and loved it. I have been a goalie since 5th grade when my best friend Jack broke his arm and could not play goalie. No one else wanted to step up and at that time I was small and did not get a lot of playing time, so I stepped up and never looked back. I not only played lacrosse in school but played several years with Winston-Salem lacrosse and North Carolina Fusion. My freshman year I played backup goalie on the varisty team that won the State Championship. I went 11 for 12 on saves. On the academic front, I am very interested in history, primarily geography and learning the history of different countries and customs. When I am not playing lacrosse or studying, I gravitate to working out, skiing, golfing or getting out on a boat or SeaDoo. As a rising Junior, it is difficult to know for sure what I exactly aspire to do. I do know that I aspire to be successful, and this means not only financially but I believe character and having a good reputation is a measure of success. My goal over my high school years is to master the goalie position, so I can be the best I can be and contribute to my college team. I would make a good candidate for a college team because not only am I competitive, but I care about my team members and do not want to let them down. I will work as hard as I can. What makes me different than other recruits is that I am extremely calm and not excitable under pressure.
