My love for the sport started when I began playing with Greenwich Youth Lacrosse at 7 years old. I moved from a B team player, playing with older girls due to the new age policy for the town program, to the A team through hard work and persistence. I was captain for my eighth grade team, concluding the season as the nominated player for the All Star team. My leadership continued off the field as I was the class speaker for my graduating middle school ceremony. I play other sports, such as soccer and basketball for school and overall love being a part of a team.
