I've been playing lacrosse for more than 10 years, but I'm different from most recruits because I play left-handed; on defense, this allows me to naturally mirror an attacker's stick to block shots or passes. I'm a tenacious player, especially when going for ground balls and interceptions. I'm also a very smart player, who knows the field and the game very well. I also play soccer and have been a starter since freshman year. I'm taking four AP classes this year in a wide range of subjects but am especially strong in the humanities. Through my youth group I have volunteered, and most recently went to work for the Appalachian Service Project.
