Sam Newton
Recruit Profile
Hard working, teachable, high game iq, and disciplined.
I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade, and I instantly fell in love with the sport . Ever since I have been working to play at the highest level day and night. It has helped me grow as a man. My downhill dodging on either side of the field is one of my strong suits. As well as my ability to read the field and find an open shooter. I'm not a me player I love to watch and help my teammates succeed even if that means I do not touch the ball during the play or be the one to score. I am taking AP Government and Ap Psych.

I started coaching Sam in 2021 after taking the head coach position of the high school he was at. Sam showed dedication to our team by showing up early, staying after, and being a leader without having been named a captain. Sam has stepped up as a top line midfielder for us and has confidence and game IQ you need in a young leader. Sam pushes himself outside of the sport and in just the short year I have been with him, he has grown as a player and a leader. Sam would be a great addition to program looking for a hard worker who is beyond dependable on and off the field.
