I picked up a lacrosse stick for the first time in 6th grade, after moving to the U.S. from Singapore. In 7th grade I decided to become a goalie and I've loved it ever since. I work very hard to develop as a goalie and a leader on defense. As a freshman, I earned the starting position on the varsity team at Staples High School (Westport, Connecticut). During the regular season, we rose to the #3 spot in the state rankings and we had the best season in Staples Girls Lacrosse history (regular season record 14-2). Alongside top players from across Fairfield County, I played club lacrosse for Gold Coast's top-level team from 2016-2019 and will be playing for CT Grizzlies starting summer 2020. I am a member of the Staples Cheer team, where I am able to put my years of competitive gymnastics training to work.

I work extremely hard in the classroom (3.8 GPA), and earned "Student of the Month" honors in March 2019.
My goal is to continue to improve on the field and in the classroom, lead by example, and make a positive impact by volunteering in my community. Ultimately, I look forward to playing lacrosse at the next level.
