Recruit Profile
I'm smart, athletic, tactical, strong, coach-able, I won't be out worked and I come from a strong and loving Family.

I am fairly new to the game of lacrosse in comparison to some other players. Technically, from May of 2019, I have only had approximately 9 months of formal training. Being a young player to the game of lacrosse I used what I have learned playing basketball and track to enhance my lacrosse game.
I have a strong desire to play at the next level. My 3 brothers all play football at the DIAA college level with one playing for Yale. I have learned how to have the motivation to become the best player I can possibly be and hopefully that same drive, hard work, passion and desire to compete will also lead me to that next level of competition. Personally, I have a huge upside to my lacrosse potential because I am so eager to explore the nature and skills of the game. I must admit I may have a bit of a "chip on my shoulder" because of the foundation and mindset of my family, in which to be "the best that you can be". I believe that I can make any college team better in the fact that I can use my tenacious mentality, innate abilities and leadership skills to motivate and drive others to be great as well.
I am encouraged, when I am presently compared to other young ladies who will be playing lacrosse at the college level. My training has enabled me to us my quickness and agility to optimize my goal scoring opportunities. I use my athletic build and strength to win almost every draw on the circle against my opponents. As well as position myself on the field to set myself up for scoring or advance the offense to put the team in a position to score. In addition, my footwork has enable me to be a tenacious defender when playing the Mid-fielder position. There aren't many successful attempts on goal when I’m defending the net.
I believe this is evident in that in the 2019 season I have accumulated 58 goals, 9 assists, over 50 ground balls, numerous turnovers and draw controls, set a single season goals record surmounting 67 total points in my Junior year.

Personal – I have three older brothers, I am the daughter of, Caribbean cultured parents, Bivia and Anthony Carrington ... Born in Lakewood ... Plays the viola ... Majoring in exercise and sport science
