Shae Risley was named on July 5 as the head coach of the Rosemont women's lacrosse program for the 2018-19 school year for the program.

"I'm really excited to get started," Risley said. "I'm looking forward to the challenge."
Risley was picked from a wide field of candidates that were interested in the position.

"After a one year hiatus for the program, Shea is a perfect person to bring in at the helm of the women's program," Rosemont director of athletics Joseph Pavlow said. "She brings an experience and vitality to bring us back to the levels that we want to reach as a program."

Risley is a 2017 graduate of Neumann and spent the past year coaching the freshman team at Penncrest High School.
As a player, Risley scored 105 goals, adding 28 assists and 119 ground balls during her four year career with the Knights. The Ridley High graduate was named All-CSAC honors in 2014 (Second Team), 2016 (Honorable Mention) and 2017 (Honorable Mention).
