I started playing lacrosse when I was in third grade. For lacrosse, I mainly play attack but when needed I am able to jump in and play midfield. I am a two sport athlete. Besides playing lacrosse in the spring, as a sophomore I play forward on the varsity soccer team. Being a multi-sport athlete has allowed me to improve my field sense as well as improve my speed and agility. Outside of sports I am involved in many extracurricular activities as I am a very engaged person. I am a part of my school's Social Events Committee as well as being on the Board of Backyard Sports. An academic pursuit that excites me is my work in the Original Science Research program as well as being in honors math. I am involved in two local organizations called Lion's Heart and CTeen. They are social action groups that center around activities that help local people in need. In addition, my older brother and I created a social service project called The Dream Meal. This program provides dream meals to patients with Breast and Ovarian cancer nationwide.
