Recruit Profile
I am a coachable, hard-working, competitive team player who loves lacrosse and field hockey. My hand-eye coordination, assists and competitive nature are my strengths.
I have always loved sports. In pre-kindergarten, I played town soccer and was on the swim team. When I was 5 years old, I was the youngest in the group to be selected for a gymnastics competitive team. By 3rd grade, I started playing lacrosse. I had a knack for scooping the ball and an eye for the goal. Scoring a hat trick was not uncommon. In middle school, I played center defense for my travel soccer team, which was in the premier league. In 8th grade my lacrosse travel team won the Nassau County championship. We were down by 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of the game and I intercepted the ball, which turned the game around and helped lead us to victory. In the spring my 8th grade, I decided to switch from soccer to field hockey so I joined a field hockey club team. In 9th grade, I was the only freshman selected for the varsity field hockey team, which was a New York State finalist. In the spring of my 9th grade, my high school lacrosse team was unable to play because of Covid. However, my lacrosse club team was able to play some games in the summer and fall. My field hockey club team wasnt as lucky as it was only able to get in a few fall practices. It is now the spring of my 10th grade and my high school just started field hockey and will start lacrosse at the end of April. I am really looking forward to getting back on the field. When I am not on the field, I like to bake, volunteer at the summer enrichment program and spend time with friends.
