Sierra James

Sierra James returns to the sidelines for her second season as Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach.

The first recruited player in the program's history, James split her duties between the goal circle and the midfield in Castine. James logged 266 saves, 20 goals and six assists to go with 111 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers in her career. James graduated in 2019 with a B.S. in Marine Biology and is employed at Jackson Labs in Bar Harbor.

"Sierra has always been the nucleus of the program," said Maine Maritime Head Coach Steve Peed. "She has a deep understanding of the game, shares in the vision of what we want this program to become and her expertise will be valuable in putting us on the path to getting there."
