Recruit Profile
I am a coachable, determined, multi-sport athlete with a strong lacrosse IQ; I play to make a difference in the game by being aggressive on ball and willing to help.
I feel like I thrive in unsettled situations; whether that is on offense or defense. I really like the chaos that happens during a face-off; it is where I feel like I work best to help my team get possession of the ball. In the rare occasions that doesn't happen I push hard to recover and get into position to either shut down their fast break or force a turnover with a stick check. Once that happens I take the ground ball and help setup our offense as a transitional LSM or take it in for a shot on goal. I started playing lacrosse in first grade and was a goalie and attack player until I got to 7th grade. That year I transitioned to playing defense for the first time and spent the season learning the position and have started playing more as an LSM during the following years.
I also play Varsity football for Vestavia Hills as a Strong Safety. I am active in my church youth program and take part in the Leadership Vestavia Hills leadership program where we help underprivileged youth in the Birmingham, AL area. I am also on the New Student Committee. I am a senior and am taking my fourth year of AP German and Honors history.
