I started playing lacrosse when I was 10 years old and quickly fell into the defensive roll on the field. I am physically strong and aggressive, force turnovers and can successfully transition the ball up the field. I have excellent communication skills and understand the help defense concept. I was ranked a top 10 defender nationally by the Shake School. I also play field hockey for Southern Regional High School. After 2 years as a volunteer assistant to the head coach of the Stafford Youth Girls Field Hockey Club (2nd -4th grade) I was given my own team to coach. I enjoy the time I spend coaching and would like to pursue a career working with special needs children. I currently have a 3.8 GPA, and finished my sophomore year on the academic honor roll in advanced placement classes all 4 quarters. Last summer I had the opportunity to play lacrosse internationally with the All Lax Touring Team. We traveled to Ireland and competed against the UK Northern Soul. Traveling abroad to play lacrosse, study the local culture and history of Ireland and develop new relationships was a monumental life experience. I was also a member of the 2020 Touring Team that was scheduled to play in the Italy Cup August 2020. Due to travel restrictions our trip was canceled. I am looking forward to my future in lacrosse and where it will lead me.
