Lacrosse has always been an integral part of my life. I started playing at 5 years old and have always loved the competitiveness, intensity and speed of the game. I currently play on the Maryland United East team , which is ranked #5 nationally. I play midfield and take the draws. Last year , as a Freshman, I played Varsity at Severna Park HS, (ranked 17th in the nation and 2019 Maryland State 4A State Championship). I had the privilege to play midfield on this Varsity team, as well as take the draws. I was a starter in the only two scrimmages prior to COVID. I am a three sport athlete, and in addition to lacrosse I play basketball and soccer . Academics are a priority for me as I strive to challenge myself both on and off the field. I'm enrolled in all Honors classes, and 1 AP course. My weighted GPA is a 4.3. Other interests of mine include traveling and learning about the ecosystems. I have witnessed several family members play at DI lacrosse schools, including my cousins and sister. My hope and dream is to be able to attend a university/college where I can excel at lacrosse and in academics. My determination and drive is my motivating factor in achieving this goal.
