Sophia is an ATHLETE.

From the very first practice I knew Sophia was going to be great out on that field.
She has so much drive and passion for lacrosse and it brings her play to a different level.

I think that some of Sophia’s greatest strengths are her speed, hard shot, awareness of the field, and her defense.

She really brings a lot of positive things to the table.
Her work ethic is out of this world and for me as a coach that is very important.

2017 Westfield Spring season stats (as a Sophomore):
Started every game at Attack or Midfielder
Scored 25 goals, 12 assists and 15 GBs for Westfield regular season JV team in 2017
Scored 8 goals in two scrimmage for a total of 33 all-purpose goals.
Scored 5 goals and 2 assists in first regular season game.

WHS girl's lacrosse coach
June 2017 :

Sophia Pappalardo played on the Westfield High School girl's lacrosse JV team during the 2016-2017 school year.

She was also our leading scorer this season with 25 goals and 12 assists.

She is a hard working athlete who gets along well with her teammates and coaches.
Sophia is coachable; she will take her coach's suggestions and vision for offensive and defensive plays into account and apply it during practices and games.

As a midfielder, Sophia is an integral part of both our offense and defense. She is strong on the circle and shows a lot of hustle and confidence when fighting for possession.

Sophia is a wonderful athlete and person and I look forward to seeing where her tenacity takes her in the future.
