I discovered lacrosse my Freshman year and knew this was my sport. A long time soccer player, lacrosse took it next-level for me by adding in the stick work. I thrive on competition, I love being part of a team, and I am persistent and unafraid on the field. I love the thrill of attack and have a strong righthanded shot and am actively developing my lefthanded shot. I am a dedicated team player. I might be tiny but I am very fast! I love the speed and endurance that is required to be a midfielder and I am able to break out of the pack and take the ball down field consistently. In a head to head ground ball, I plan to win! On defense, I am aggressive and love the challenge of forcing a turnover. I have a strong LAX IQ, but I am hungry to learn more. I will always be a student of the game. In my first year playing HS lacrosse, I was the Team Captain and Midfield MVP. I am a social person and love interacting with others. I encourage and lift up my teammates often. I am both an active player and a vocal leader during both practices and games. I know that my success on the field is more than just stick skills. I take good care of myself physically and mentally on and off of the field. Working with a personal trainer since I was 13 years old, I have been focused on strength, endurance, and precise form in my workouts. With 3 younger, lacrosse playing siblings, I now use that knowledge to help them get fit and focused! I also volunteer as an AYSO youth soccer referee. For four years, I participated in Seal Beach, California's Junior Lifeguard Program, where we physically trained as guards and developed a healthy respect for the power of the ocean. I will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with a health or life science focus, and the intent to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. My mid-range goal is to open my own chiropractic practice with a focus on athletes.
