Hi, my name is Sophie Davenport. I started playing lacrosse in pre-school. I play for the Chatham High School Varsity team and Center Court Lacrosse Club. I am a varsity letter holder and 2021 American Select New Jersey National Champion. I am quick on cuts and able to read defensive positioning to successfully set picks and use my off ball movement to help my team score a goal. My coaches have told me that I have a strong lacrosse IQ which I not only use on the field but also on my front yard while I teach young girls in my neighborhood the basics of the best game EVER! I am looking to study either Occupational Therapy or Graphic Design, I realize two very diverse career choices. Also, my nickname is Goose.
