Hi! I am Stephanie, I attend Warwick Valley High School. I am Currently a rising Junior. I have four older siblings and three dogs. Three of my siblings played/play lacrosse and hockey. My grandpa and my dad were both D1 athletes at NYU [grandpa] and Fordham University [dad, baseball]. I have played lacrosse since 2nd grade where it all began and since then I made JV in 7th grade and was named captain, during this year I played 5 varsity games, 3 regular season games and finals and a state game. I have made honor roll or high honor roll all throughout middle school. Since starting high school I have made high honor roll. While this past year has been more unexpected than anyone could have known, it has been worth it and very eye opening. I have maintained an unweighted average of 4.0. I am in all honors classes and AP World History. I plan to major in Law while in college and hopefully minor in Spanish or History, although that can always change! When I am not playing lacrosse or in school, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and playing outside with them all day long! I am very close with my family and it is important for us to eat dinner together while we still can, with a big family comes many in college at one time, and ven many out of college at one time. As I am the youngest, I have been able to go through the experience of visiting colleges, seeing my three older brothers all commit to a college for sports, my oldest brother attended Saint Michaels College for lacrosse, my other brother is currently at Stony Brook University for hockey, and my other brother is currently at SUNY Cortland playing lacrosse. I am lucky because while I was able to watch my brothers go through the recruiting process, I also get to watch my sister who does not play sports go through finding and applying to colleges. It is definitely a learning process for me and helpful that I was able to watch my siblings go through the same thing I will have to go through.
