Sydney Sager
Recruit Profile
Coachable, driven, aggressive, motivated academically and athletically. Adaptable, positive, team player who always puts the teams needs before self. Receptive to feedback, I strive to endlessly pursue excellence.
From the moment I held my first lacrosse stick, I knew that this sport was what would make me, ME. As the draw specialist for my club team I have led my team in goals the past two years. My tenacity, coach-ability, strong lacrosse IQ, and ability to play with both hands helped to earn me a spot on my HS Varsity Lacrosse team my freshman year, in addition to running Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Track. I run the 1000, 1600, and 3200.
My freshman year cross country and track seasons, our teams each won our respective conference titles, in which I ran the 4x800, 1600, and 3200(all for track). We continued our streak by winning both titles my sophomore year, and this time I ran the 1000 and the 1600. Sophomore year I qualified for States in the 1000 with a time of 3 minutes 21 seconds as well as qualifying for the 1600 with a time of 5 minutes 49 seconds.
In addition to being a three sport varsity athlete and having a 4.0 GPA, I co-lead the Students Demand Action Chapter at my high school and I volunteer at my local firehouse.
I am interested in Political Science, Pre-Law, or Psychology as a major, and I aspire to be a US Marine. Junior year I took three AP classes: AP English 11, AP Psychology, and AP United States History. Senior year I will be taking three more APs and one ECE: AP Language, AP Government, AP Calculus, and ECE Spanish V.
