TJ has an incredibly high lacrosse IQ which makes him such a good duel threat attackman. He always has his head up looking to break down the defense. He has great stick skills and footwork that allow him to contest at the next level.

Dynamic Lefty Attack player who can be an offensive threat equally between the wing and playing from X. TJ is swift and shifty which combined with a high IQ makes him a force for defenders to contend with. Pleasure to coach and ready for next level.

TJ is an extremely coachable athlete and an excellent lacrosse player. He is a skilled lefty who has quick hands and quick feet. Great lacrosse IQ which helps him set up his teammates but athletic enough to create for himself and finish strong.

I have worked with TJ in a 1:1 capacity and have been very impressed with his athleticism, coachability, and will to compete and get better during each training session. I look forward to continuing to work with TJ over the next 4 years and beyond.

As fine a lacrosse player as TJ is, he is even a finer young man.  He displays a great attitude towards his school work.  The same work ethic that has made him such a good athlete has made him a strong student.  TJ is polite, and humble.  Many times in this business we are asked to give our opinion of players or write recommendations. Every once in a while there comes a time when giving such an opinion or writing a recommendation is something that we truly enjoy because of the impact and impression that a particular player has made on us.  For me, this is one of those times.  TJ Herron is one of the most coachable kids I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  He listens to why we do each exercise.  He performs each exercise with a passion to be the best he can be. Athletically, TJ is putting in the work to be at a high level.  He comes into each workout with a purpose to get better.  From when I started with TJ until now, he has reached a new level of an athlete from all the hours and dedication he puts in.  He is the true definition of becoming hours ahead of competition from all the hard work he puts in each week with me. TJ truly has a heart for lacrosse, which explains his hard working nature and mentality.  I strongly believe that TJ will be a strong asset to any program.  He knows what he has to do to be successful.  From a coaching standpoint, he is the perfect example to represent a collegiate program as a student, athlete, and overall individual.
