I have known Tade Scheid and her family for the past two years at Northgate High School. Being a parent myself, I appreciate both Tobi and Todd Scheid for the values they have instilled in their daughter, in which she is well-mannered and respectful. These are the traits we search for when selecting student-athletes to be in our lacrosse program. For the past 25 years in coaching, I have been around numerous student-athletes and teams during my career. In all those years, Tade has stood out in my mind as being one of the most coachable and willing-to-learn student-athlete I have ever been around. Tade has always had a great attitude and does her best in whatever capacity she was in. Tade is a multi-sport athlete (Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, and Lacrosse) that started playing lacrosse her freshman year. During the pandemic, she was able to log many hours of context play that I have seen transfer over to real games. Watching film, she can articulate what is happening on/off-ball which demonstrates her IQ and intelligence. Don’t discount her based on her years played, take a moment to watch her film to see her IQ and intelligence.

Tade has drawn on experience in multiple other sports to quickly become one of the most capable and hard working middies on our True California Attack 2023 Elite Team. Her ground ball win percentage creates possession and opportunity for us, and she has great field awareness. Above all she works to improve in every situation.
