Tatum Hagen

2023 | OR: Wilsonville

Recruit Profile
A lefty, coachable tenacious, driven, and resilient multi-sport athlete and ultra athlete, as well as dog agility trainer who sees adversity and challenge as an opportunity for growth and leadership.

Athletics, specifically the tenacious, driven attitude I've developed has been a product of who I am as an athlete, combined with some amazing coaching staff since I began playing sports at a young age.

I have played ice hockey since 3 years old, transitioning into a multi-sport athlete at age 7, when I began my Lacrosse career among other sports through to current day. I am a strong lefty who trains off the field to be as diligent with my right hand as well, making me a dynamic and unpredictable player on the field.

A list of my athletic credentials are as follows:

Varsity Lacrosse 2019/2020 (season cancelled due to pandemic)
Varsity Lacrosse 2020/2021
-2 time Dominator award recipient
-Varsity Starter
-2021 All Conference
Varsity Freshman Swimming (500m/200m/200mrelay) at Wilsonville High School;
-2019 - All League Honorable Mention
-2019 - State Participant
-Varsity Letter
-District Finals; 500m freestyle; 200m freestyle relay
-Ultra-Runner; 100 Mile (featured in RaceCenter Magazine; as a 15 year old ultra marathoner)
-Gymnastics; Xcel Gold Competitor; State Meet
-Ice Hockey; 8 years as a forward; 2 years as a goalie
-Triathlete (several)
-Dog Agility Trainer - 3 years

In addition to athletics, I own my own business whereby I custom paint shoes, you can see some of my work on my Instagram page @grapejuice_cp as well as I am a Dog Agility Trainer. It takes aptitude to work with animals, training them to view you as a leader, the patience it takes to perfect their movements, the listening, and overall senses as some of the movements are done without visual ques. This requires an incredible amount of patience, hard work and trust as a leader to the animal. I will bring these attributes into a career in Business Project Management.

Athletics has provided me a foundation that I can build off. It's provided discipline, teamwork, leadership, overcoming adversity, and learning to pivot.
