I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade after transitioning from many years of softball. I instantly had a new passion! I was a multisport athlete up until 10th grade. I was a former Wilson High School Field Hockey and Lacrosse player in West Lawn, PA. I played defense for both sports. However, COVID certainly changed our last two seasons tremendously! I transferred to a college preparatory school, Stone Independent School, in Lancaster, PA winter semester of my 10th grade year to focus on academics while continuing to play for my club lacrosse team, Xtreme Lacrosse in Lancaster, PA. I was a member of the debate club at Wilson High School where I could utilize my strong communication skills to discuss and show my deep passion on many topics and ideas. At Stone, this same passion still holds true for me. We are able to utilize our knowledge and put it into real-life situations. Defending my passionate views with strong data and facts in my Critical Content class and making a hoover board in my Physics class utilizing my knowledge of true physics are just some of the examples of how I will be able to succeed in my future college academics.

As a dynamic lacrosse defender (#4 on the 2023 Xtreme team), I am true team player with coachable qualities. The team comradery and passionate coaches at Xtreme is something that will stay with me forever. Being a zone defender has given me the opportunity to gain a strong knowledge of the game. I developed my aggressive defensive skills beginning with my one-on-one defense style early on in my lax career. Being able to switch from one-on-one to zone at any point in our coaches play calling makes me a versatile defender. Being an athlete has taught me more than sports itself. I have developed resilience to overcome adversity in any aspect of my life on and off the field. Leadership, accountability and a strong work ethic are my qualities that will stay with me for a lifetime thanks to Lax and I hope to continue playing Lax at the collegiate level developing new and even stronger skills!
