My name is Taylor Moncman and I am a multi-sport, student-athlete. I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade and have loved it ever since. I compete in both lacrosse and basketball at the varsity level. Last year I was named First-Team All league for High School as a sophomore. I currently play for T3 Elite Lacrosse club for West 2020. I live in Center Valley, PA, and attend Southern Lehigh High School, where my lacrosse team has made it to the District Tournament two years in a row. My basketball team has won the Colonial League and the PIAA District XI Championship. We then entered PIAA State Tournament ranked Top 10 in the state and hope to continue that this season! I primarily play midfield, however, I am very open to playing anywhere on the field. I am typically either taking draw or on the draw circle for both my teams, as I enjoy the rush and intensity of gaining possession of the ball. Two summers ago, I had the opportunity to take part in the Brine National Lacrosse Tournament and guest play on the Virginia team. This summer I played on the Under Armor uncommitted team at Towson University. I currently hold a GPA of 3.945, taking two AP classes this year. My current career interests are to work in the Health Science field. In athletics, I also challenge myself and strive to be the best I can be for my team. I am a fast, strong girl as I am 5'9...being tall has great advantages in lacrosse. I am able to get high on the draw and having long legs makes my stride a lot longer! I am a very coachable and versatile person, as I love to engage in other people's opinions and suggestions. While keeping busy with sports, I love to help out in the community. I take part in Student Council, where I am the Secretary, Key Club, and Teen Counselors. I also am an active member of the Angel 34 student board, to raise money for families with children going through their battle with pediatric cancer. Overall, I am a coachable, determined/focused, aggressive, hard working, team player with a high lacrosse IQ.
