Taylor Sindall has been hired as Frostburg’s head coach for women’s lacrosse in early June.

Sindall, who arrives at FSU from Bucknell University, inherits a Frostburg program that opened the 2020 season at 2-2 overall and was picked to win the Mountain East Conference in the Bobcats’ first year at NCAA Division II.

“We are thrilled to have Taylor Sindall lead the Frostburg women’s lacrosse program,” said Redinger. “Sindall’s accomplishments as a player and coach will motivate, challenge and inspire our players. Taylor is an energetic and impactful leader who will connect with our student-athletes and together, will elevate the program to new heights.”

Sindall served as the top assistant at Bucknell in 2019-20 and helped the Bison to a 3-5 overall record prior to the season being cut short. Bucknell opened the season with wins over Sacred Heart and Binghamton and was picked to finish ninth in the Patriot League.

She served as the Bison recruiting coordinator, was responsible for all on-campus clinics and the marketing efforts involved and oversaw all team equipment.

“I am extremely honored to have been selected as Frostburg State University’s next head women’s lacrosse coach,” added Sindall. “I would like to thank Director of Athletics Troy Dell and Senior Woman Administrator Crystal Redinger, along with the search committee for their belief in my leadership capabilities. I am so excited for the opportunity to join an exceptional athletic department and to lead the women’s lacrosse team at Frostburg to new heights. I cannot wait to mentor these young women to win in all aspects of life.”

Sindall also worked as the second assistant coach at Bucknell for the 2019 season, helping three student-athletes to All-Patriot League athletic and academic honors.

Sindall was the associate head coach for NCAA Division III Goucher College for two seasons following a standout playing career for DII Limestone.

She directed the offensive, defensive and draw strategies while at Goucher. She also developed and executed the Gopher strength & conditioning program, assisted with player development and evaluated student-athletes throughout the recruiting process. Three players earned All-Landmark Conference honors during her time at Goucher.

Sindall coached for the Elite Lacrosse Club and spent three years with the Frederick Star Lacrosse Club. She served as the director for the Ground Control Lacrosse Club and was a coaching/management intern for the Baltimore Ride.
