I started playing lacrosse when I was eight years old and developed an immediate love for the game. I made a habit of going back to the field behind my house to shoot or go play wall ball whenever I got the chance, a habit that I still continue today. Not only am I determined to succeed but I have the means to do exactly that. Since I began playing lacrosse I have played every single position except goalie giving me an incredible understanding of how all the positions on the field work together to achieve a common goal. In my first year playing modified lacrosse (7th grade) I played LSM and close defense and started every game. The next year I had the option to play JV but instead chose to play modified and hone in my skills at midfield, that year I had 39 goals and 23 assists in the span of 12 games and was also the face off man on my team even though I had just started taking them that year. In every aspect of my life I try to succeed at the highest level possible which is evident in my grades as well as my activities such as Boy Scouts where I will very soon receive the rank of Eagle Scout, and also in music where I have been ranked in the top 5 in my county and zone of state consistently for over 5 years. It is through these and many other various activities that I have been well rounded and gained priceless knowledge while also enjoying them. Some qualities that I see valuable in myself are: intelligent, my ability to lead, hard working, understanding, well rounded, coachable, and highly determined.
