Recruit Profile
Top Tier FO specialist excelling at early-offense and taking it to the cage from face. Versatile, High Lacrosse IQ, Gritty, Hardworking, Trustworthy, and Humble.

I started playing lacrosse at 12 looking for a more exciting sport and found my passion. At 14 I started getting serious about the face-off position. I train for face-off reps daily and have moved from at home body weight training 5 days a week to a weight lifting program 5 days a week. I also train at Acceleration North for speed and quickness training 3 days a week. I have finished my 2018 spring season with a 70% face-off win percentage as well as 7 points 84 ground balls. I finished among the top face-off specialists in the state with having to miss 5 games due to an injury which I have recovered nicely from. I competed at the FaceOff Academy 2016 Midwest Regional Showcase and was ranked #1 in the 2020 class and was a finalist in the competition. I am confident in dodging and finishing with either hand. I take great pride in my defensive abilities and defensive IQ as well. I take a College level social studies class at my school as well as an accelerated math class. My mother runs an in-home daycare and I help her with the kids daily when I get home from school. I believe this gives me a unique level of maturity, perspective, and a great deal of patience. I love teaching young kids lacrosse! I currently coach a U8 youth team for White Bear Lake. It is a rewarding experience to watch them grow and progress as they develop confidence in their ability! Prior to lacrosse, I was a pitcher and a cleanup hitter in baseball and played football until my freshman season. The final two seasons of football, despite having a great deal of success as a running back, kick returner, punt returner, gunner, linebacker, and defensive end, I had suffered a concussion in each of those seasons. After much discussion with my parents, we decided it was time to leave football behind and protect my brain. Recovery from both was pretty rapid but my style of football play puts me at greater risk. My greatest sports memories was leading my 7th grade football team to a championship as well as my U15 White Bear Lake lacrosse team to a state Championship. I have no intention of letting them be my last championships. My greatest asset as an athlete and as a student is my family's love.

Thomas has been training with us at True Lacrosse MN for the past two seasons and continues to improve every day. He combines outstanding coachability traits with great talent and work ethic. He is a talented two-way midfielder who can also help at the faceoff X.
