He currently serves as an assistant offensive coordinator.

Tuttle also worked with the program as goalie coach and assistant defensive coordinator from 2003 through ’07.

He then became head coach at Division III Farmingdale State College for seven seasons. While at Farmingdale State, Tuttle guided the Rams to four conference semifinals and one conference championship game. He earned the 2011 Skyline Conference Coach of the Year award.

Tuttle draws upon a wealth of knowledge and experience from the Long Island, national and international lacrosse circuits.

He began his collegiate career at Farmingdale State in 1990 and anchored its Region XV championship team in 1992. He was a first-team all-region player both years.

Tuttle then transferred to NYIT for the remainder of his college career and emerged as one of the greatest goalies in program history. Tuttle was a two-time All-American at NYIT. As a senior, he won the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award, which is given to the nation’s top goalie. Despite only two seasons playing for the Bears, Tuttle ranks second all time with 399 saves and fourth all time with an 8.51 goal against average. He continues to hold the NYIT record for saves in a season with 246. He was inducted into the NYIT Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004.

Tuttle began his collegiate coaching career in 1995 as an assistant coach at Farmingdale State under Long Island and National Hall of Fame coach Fred Acee. Tuttle help the Rams to the Region XV Championship Tournament and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament before leaving coaching to work in the business world.

He returned to the coaching ranks in 2003 at NYIT, under Hall of Fame coach Jack Kaley. In 2005, Tuttle helped guide the Bears to their third NCAA Division II national title.

Tuttle and Kaley teamed together elsewhere, too. As the head coach of Team Germany, Kaley once again called upon Tuttle to be his defensive coordinator. Team Germany competed in the 2014 FIL World Championships in Denver and placed seventh overall.

"Tim was one of the first coaches I contacted when looking for a new assistant coach for Team Germany,” Kaley said. “His knowledge of the type of lacrosse I like to run made him the perfect candidate for the job.”
