I found the sport of lacrosse when I was in 5th grade. However, our town did not have any youth programs at the time so my parents drove me to nearby towns to play for a few years. The sport is a perfect match for my personality and skills so they also helped establish a middle school club so I could play at home during those years. I have since been on our HS Varsity Team and was our team's high scorer this year with 20 goals. I earned 1st Team All-conference as a Freshman and our team earned the Sportsmanship award. I am a multi-sport athlete and have played on our HS Varsity Soccer team for 2 years as a defenseman. During the winter, I am on the Varsity Alpine and Nordic Ski teams. I competed in the Ski Meister (combined scores for 4 events: Giant slalom and slalom downhill races + skate and classic nordic races) competition and won the KVAC meet my Freshman year and was 3rd this year as a Sophomore. As a sophomore, I was named the Portland Press Herald Skier of the Year. I am an Honors student and also took AP World HIstory as a Sophomore and have 2 AP classes planned for Junior year. I am on the Viking Council which leads our school Freshman Mentor program to work closely with new students as they transition to High School. In my spare time, I downhill ski with my family and friends during the winter, waterski, jetski and catch turtles at our camp in the summer and work as a laborer at my father's construction company.
