Tristan came to Stevenson as an incoming 9th grader and made an immediate impact on the Varsity Lacrosse team. He ability to take the transferable skills of waterpolo and football make him even more dangerous. He has solidified himself as an elite midfielder that prides himself on his play between the restraining lines. Strong wing play and ability to get the ball off the ground on the first attempt creates transition and possession during key moments. He is comfortable dodging down the alley, over the middle and even behind the goal. He hunts the goal at all times and continues to improve his vision and ability to make others look good with ball movement. Tristan’s ability to play two-ways at a high level adds tremendous value to any team he is a part of. After losing most of his freshman season to Covid, the future is certainly unwritten for the strong, physical and hungry rising Junior.

Tristan is the definition of a "work horse". His grit and athleticism are matched by his attitude and work ethic, which results in a coach's dream with unlimited potential. When I first started coaching Tristan, I was so impressed by his footwork on defense and tenacity when the ball was on the ground. But over time, I was even more impressed by his versatility on offense and his improvement in dodging & shooting with both hands. In an age of specialization, Tristan is a true two-way middie. Finally, Tristan is the type of player who asks for feedback AND actually listens to what you have to say...I've never had to give him the same advice twice. I truly can't wait to see where he takes his game and think he is one of the premier "diamonds in the rough" in Northern California in the 2023 class.

Tristan is a throwback two-way midfielder that makes plays on defense, in transition, and on offense. He locks it down on defense, is stellar off the ground, can push in transition, and score the rock off the dodge and pass. His ability to get up and down makes it hard to take him off the field. Tristan's days playing hockey and water polo developed his slick hands, which tied with his athleticism and strength, allow him to make skilled & physical plays all over the field. His ceiling is high as he will continue to get better and grow as a player.
