Recruit Profile
Coachable player that works hard to be the best. Tough on the field and determined to win and play at the highest level.

I only began playing lacrosse in 8th grade (played baseball every year up until then), so I am relatively unknown to the lacrosse world. Since I started playing so late, I have had to work harder then anyone else to be great. I train almost everyday with my dad (has a lacrosse background as a player and high school coach). I also constantly watch high level lacrosse games to learn how great players play and how I can add to my game. Although I've only played lacrosse two years, it has quickly grown on me and become my favorite sport, and I am extremely determined for a future in it.
For the past few years, I have played AAU basketball at the top level in New Jersey. I am also a member of the high school basketball team, having started every game as a freshman. I averaged 12 points per game and led the team in almost every statistical category (points, rebounds, blocked shots, assists), earning All League honors for the NJAC "Freedom" Division, and team MVP. Academically, I carry a 4.27 GPA with AP and Honors courses.

I coach Troy in club. Troy is a tall, lanky, and athletic. He can play close defense or long stick midfield. Athletically, he is superiors to other players. He has lettered in basketball since his freshmen year, for his HS. On the lacrosse field Troy started playing lacrosse later than most players. (8th grade) He strives to improve his IQ and defensive skill sets. Troy has solid footwork overall, but continues to improve his defensive footwork, angles, and approaches, especially around the crease. His stick skills are above average and he can push the ball in transition. He is working on becoming a complete defenseman, where he can excel in all facets. In time, and continued hard work, he will become an elite defenseman and a player coaches, at the next level, will want for their program.
