Throughout my high school years I have always strived to be better and push myself, not just in lacrosse but also in the classroom. I challenge myself and set goals to improve whenever I get the opportunity. I know I can accomplish my goals with hard work and perseverance and why would I settle for less than what I am capable of? I stay determined, focused and driven to be better and achieve my goals even when I face set backs. This mentality and drive has helped me achieved honors every year as well as become a member of the National Honor Society. I believe my metal toughness and perseverance will also help my achieve my goal of playing Lacrosse at the College level.

When Covid struck Spring 2020, I wasnt able to play in any leagues, and my freshman lacrosse season was cancelled. These set backs didnt stop me from practicing and working individually. I set up a weight room in my basement, and worked at a routine. I watched games and film and online tutorials. In addition to that I practiced every chance I got in my yard with my brother and dad. I started a group communication encouraging teammates to join me at the fields to play during the off season.

Lacrosse is not a very big program at my high school because were a small town and the program is young. Our team had 13 players last season with varying abilities. Because I was already in good condition going into the season and eager to play as much Lacrosse as I could I rotated with two other teammates doing face-offs and played midfield as well as attack. We played other Varsity teams with 20 - 40 kids total. It was a challenging season but each game we learned a lot and tried hard to improve with each game.

I work at the game constantly to get better. I watch college games, online tutorials, and practice everyday on my own or with friends. When Im not playing on my high school team I participate in off-season programs with the Maine Mussels and Maineiax as well as one-on-one coaching whenever possible. I have a goal to play Lacrosse at the college level and I believe I can achieve the goal.
