I have had the honor of competing and training with Tyler Burton for the last four years. Ty is a pure lacrosse player, an elite level athlete, and a national level defender at close defense LSM and short stick for the 2024 graduating class. Ty has been a tremendous asset on the field on the sideline in practice and especially with his intangible leadership qualities in the locker room. As a Junior, Ty started at linebacker for his high school football team. When the whistle blows Ty's athletic ability is paramount. On our True MM 24 AAA Team, Tyler is a premier heartbeat for our game plan and execution. A lockdown defender with take away ability, and comprehensive understanding of team concepts at several levels on the defensive half. Tyler's play and athleticism is explosive between the box lines on both the clear and the ride. A burst of speed, great field vision and awareness. Prowess for contact with a motor that drives through impact and linebacker eyes that remain up and on the next play. Ty is great in the classroom and an upstanding young man.
