I started playing lacrosse in the 4th grade. All through my youth and middle school years, I played football in the fall, basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring. Once in high school, I played one year of football and then transitioned to soccer in the fall and lacrosse in the spring. During the winter, I organize and play on a city league basketball team for fun. As a freshman lacrosse player, I was the only full-time freshman Varsity player and helped lead my team to a league Championship. As a sophomore, I once again made the Varsity team and helped lead my team to back to back league championships and was recognized as the Sheldon High School Midfielder of the Year and achieved All-League recognition. I joined Madlax Oregon 2021AA, which was ranked as high as 17th nationally during the summer of 2019 and specialized as a short stick defender and transition midfielder. I was recognized as the most sure-handed midfielder on the team and was routinely designated to transition the ball to the offensive side of the field.

During the Spotlight Showcase, Long Island, NY, Nov/19, I was one of the only Standout players among approximately 80 players to be recognized. According to mylacrossetournaments.com who organizes and covers the Long Island LAX Fest, Fall Classic and Spotlight Showcase to name a few, had this to say about me:
-Tysen Lindsey, Midfield, Sheldon (Ore.)/Madlax Oregon: A big, put-together midfielder, Lindsey had deceptively good feet and guys going up against him seemed surprised at how easily he could get by them. He did a terrific job of dodging hard and drawing slides, and he routinely made smart, heady passes to get his teammates involved. He Chipped in two assists and
a caused turnover.

I am of extreme high character and believe in hard-work. I firmly believe that a person gets out what he puts in. I am a Team-First guy and am more interested in team success over my own which is why I will gladly give the ball up to a better positioned player. Lastly, I am well known as the guy who does the work that no one else wants to do such as play good defense, attack ground balls, draw the defense on a dodge and pass to an open player. I am known for my athleticism, character and desire to get better.
