Coachable, team player with strong Lax IQ, never hesitates to ask questions, and aggressive dual-sport athlete.
I started playing lacrosse during the summer before my senior year. Even though I had a late start, I worked very hard and gave this sport every ounce of effort. I wasn't the most aggressive player starting off, but with the help of my coach, I now pride myself in playing good defense in 1v1 drills and having confidence on the field with setting picks, cutting, and crease rolls. I am currently taking AP Chemistry and AP Political Science. Outside of lacrosse I am heavily involved in the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus, Peer Jury with the Addison Police Department, Student Government Executive Board, and Peer Ministry.

Var is a very coachable player. For just recently picking up the sport competitively, she has made strides in her level of play and lacrosse IQ. She is eager to get better and willing to put in the extra work it takes to do so. She is an incredible and encouraging teammate as well as a very hard worker.
