My collegiate goals and aspirations are to create long lasting friendships, excel on the field and in the classroom, and develop skills that will help me succeed not only in my future career and in the game, but in life as well (teamwork, dedication, discipline, etc). I feel that I am a good candidate for most teams because I adapt to changing environments easily, and create relationships with others easily. I am different from other recruits because I prioritize both academics and athletics. I am extremely coachable, and I love to learn how I can get better. I strive to succeed in all areas. I am empathetic and understanding of others. Thank you for taking the time to research my profile and read my statement.
I started playing lacrosse in sixth grade. I played mid-attack for my club team, 2022 York Invaders. This past summer (2021), we went 20-1-1, and ranked 1st in Pennsylvania and 11th in the nation. I was the leading scorer for my high school team, finishing with 49 goals and 63 draw controls in a 12 game season. I was nominated All County Second-Team for midfield my junior year. I like to use both hands to score, and I pride myself on being able to play all positions of the field (not including goalie, of course). I am in AP World History, and AP Biology. I have taken honors and AP classes all throughout my high school career. I also start on the varsity basketball team, and we were Division Champions this past year. I am President and Editor in Chief of the Yearbook Club, in FFA, Varsity Club, Secretary for National Honors Society, President of my junior class, participate in chorus, and enjoy volunteering at my local dog shelter when I have free time.
