Will Emsing, A, BC High (Mass.) Here we are, talking about Emsing again. The best attackman at the Showcase, he was also one of the best frontline workers in the tournament. He got past defenders whenever he wanted with a hard split, or a split chained into a roll that left defenders checking air. Emsing’s body position and — more importantly — body control were on full display.
Will Emsing, BC High / Kings, 2023 A hard-riding and locked-in attackman, Emsing was dialed in from the first whistle. His most impressive attribute may appear to be his wide and varied dodging ability, but it’s actually his off-ball cutting. A lot of players just move towards the ball at 50-75 percent speed — Emsing just runs. A tall lefty who could get inside whenever he wanted, Emsing was the best attackman at the event because he was consistent and dependable in every situation.
